Smithing Skill Issue: The Blacksmith skill is currently not working properly. The skill is supposed to decrease the amount of ingredients required to repair items and craft items in the anvil, but it currently only decreases the amount that's visible in the crafting recipe, while still using the original (non-discounted) amount of said recipe.
Don’t worry too much. It doesn’t really make a huge difference beyond the first hour or so, and if you sink a decent amount of time into Core Keeper
The issues outlined here are some of the more impactful bugs we’ve had reported, and we feel it’s important that you know we’re working on these. This does not mean that we are not working through other issues that you have submitted to us via the bug report form[fireshinegames.jotform.com].
1. Combat exp gain - It works the same as in Skyrim, so each hit gives 1 exp, and this system was flowed in that game as it is in this game. The game punishes the player for playing with slower weapons that deal more damage, and also punishes them for just getting stronger, which is bizzare. This system also makes some classes way less enjoyable to play than others, where Ranged can easily get to max level as they get massive amounts of exp from souls and just their weapons being quite fast, meanwhile a class like Magic is absolutely shafted as they have very slow attacks that deal a lot of damage, while also requiring the use of mana to even be able to deal the damage.
And there's Core Keeper Gameplay nothing that makes me feel more at home in a game than fishing, farming, and cooking, and they're all great in Core Keeper. Fishing works almost like a rhythm game, with each fish struggling to its own "beat.
Generally speaking, it's a good idea to place your base near the Core. The Core has a Waypoint which can teleport you to other areas, and crafting your own Waypoints and Portals is expensive.

alone, one of its biggest selling points is co-op. There can be up to eight players in the on-line multiplayer mix, which I’d probably save for a later date. I don’t necessarily think it’s time to go all-in on Core Keeper
While the likes of Terraria and Valheim continue to hog headlines, Core Keeper offers strong competition. Its compelling gameplay, excellent art style, and extensive range of content make it worth diving in.
Aside from selling supplies, the Bearded Merchant sells items that can be used to re-summon certain bosses such as all giant slimes and Ghorm; you simply need to purchase these items and place them on the boss' rune to get them to reappear. Feel free to farm the bosses for fun and profit if you want!
